NATIONAL CADET CORPS 29(A) BN NCC : TIRUPATI

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces, aimed at grooming students into disciplined and patriotic citizens. NCC operates with the motto "Unity and Discipline." This motto reflects its core values of fostering unity among cadets from diverse backgrounds while instilling discipline essential for military and civilian life. The primary motive of NCC is to develop character, leadership qualities, camaraderie, and a spirit of adventure among the youth. NCC aims to nurture qualities such as courage, secular outlook, sportsmanship, and the spirit of selfless service. 

It operates as a tri-services organization comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force. NCC activities include drill, shooting, adventure sports, and community development projects, fostering leadership and camaraderie among cadets.

At our college, we are affiliated with the 29(A) Battalion NCC, which plays a crucial role in organizing and overseeing NCC activities locally. Established to instill qualities like leadership, teamwork, and national pride, the 29(A) Battalion NCC offers opportunities for cadets to participate in various camps, social service activities, and competitive events. It serves as a platform for holistic development and prepares cadets for future challenges through rigorous training and exposure to military ethos.

At present Dr. C. Bapanayya is acting as Associate NCC Officer (ANO) for NCC unit.

There are 12 final year cadets, 11 second year cadets and 21 first year cadets getting trained under NCC.
