Grievance Redressal Cell - Profile

The student's Grievance Redressal Cell has been functioning in the college

♦ To ensure transparency in the process of Teaching and Learning.

♦ To prevent Unfair Practices

♦ To provide help a grieved students for redressal of their grievances.

♦ To look into the complaints lodged by the students and judge for redressal.

♦ To probe into maters of harassement.

Mechanism of Grievances Redressal:

  1. Submission of Grievance: Students can submit their grievances in writing or through an online portal e-CEGRaM, detailing the nature of the issue they are facing.
  2. Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC): A dedicated committee is formed, typically comprising faculty members and student representatives, to investigate and resolve complaints.
  3. Investigation: The GRC reviews the submitted grievances, gathers relevant information, and may conduct hearings if necessary.
  4. Resolution: After evaluating the case, the GRC proposes a resolution, which may include corrective actions or recommendations to prevent future grievances.
  5. Feedback Mechanism: Students are usually encouraged to provide feedback on the resolution process, ensuring continuous improvement of the grievance handling system.
  6. Transparency: The process aims to maintain transparency, and results are communicated back to the students to ensure trust in the mechanism.
